This page explains who writes MarketingStackHub, what our comparisons are based on, and how we handle the fact that some links on this site earn a commission.
Who writes the guides
Every guide is written by the MarketingStackHub team, with more than 10 years of experience running digital marketing campaigns for real businesses. That experience shapes what we look at — billing units, seat limits, add-on costs and the other details that change a real monthly bill. It is not the same as testing every tool, and we don’t claim it is.
What our comparisons are based on
Our comparisons are research-based. They are built from primary sources rather than other review sites:
- Vendors’ own pricing pages, checked directly.
- Official documentation, help centres and FAQs — for example, how a tool counts a task, or which plan unlocks automation.
- Public marketplace listings and their user ratings, such as integration marketplaces.
If a guide includes anything we have used hands-on, it says so and identifies which part.
How we check prices
- At the source. Prices come from each vendor’s own pricing page, and the guide says when they were checked.
- Annual and monthly, side by side. Most vendors advertise the annual rate. We show both where they differ, because the gap is often 15–40%.
- Like for like. Tools bill in different units — tasks, credits, executions, seats — so we state the basis of each comparison.
- Currency and region. Many vendors price by region. Where a table mixes currencies, we say so.
Prices and plans change often. Always confirm the current price on the vendor’s site before you buy.

Commission does not decide the verdict. Several guides recommend tools that pay us nothing because that was the honest answer — Zoho CRM over Pipedrive for small teams, and n8n or Activepieces for long workflows.

When we find a price or plan detail that has changed, we update the guide.
