The short answer
Most people leave Integrately for one of two reasons, and they are both about the bill rather than the builder.
The second user is the cliff. Integrately includes one user on Starter and one on Professional. To add a colleague you jump to Growth at $99 a month — two and a half times the $39 Professional plan, for a seat rather than a feature. Make, Pabbly Connect and n8n all include unlimited users on every paid plan, and Pabbly includes them on its free plan too.
Tasks run out faster than the number suggests. Integrately counts conditions, searches and every inline Modify Data as separate tasks. Its own documentation works through an example where a single automation consumes four. More on that below, because it is the part most comparisons miss entirely.
If neither applies to you — if you are one person, your automations are simple, and you value being up and running in ten minutes — Integrately is a good tool and there is no reason to move. Its library of ready-made automations is the fastest route to a first working integration of anything here.
The task counting, in Integrately’s own words
This is the detail worth understanding before you compare any prices, and it comes straight from Integrately’s pricing FAQ.
A task is charged for “every successful execution of action, condition / branching, modify data (inline in an action or independent step), search (inline in an action or independent step)”. The worked example on their own page: a lead arrives from Facebook, you check whether it has an email address, and if so you add it to Mailchimp — extracting first and last name from a full name field along the way. Integrately’s own answer is that this consumes four tasks: one condition, one action, and one for each of the two Modify Data fields.
So a plan advertising 10,000 tasks may be closer to 2,500–5,000 actual automation runs once you are doing anything with branching or field formatting. That is not hidden — it is documented plainly — but it is easy to miss when you are comparing headline numbers.
Two things run the other way, and they matter. Integrately does not charge for triggers, and it does not charge for failed actions. That is genuinely better than Make, where each polling check draws a credit, and it is the reason a like-for-like task comparison is harder than it looks.

1. Pabbly Connect — the direct answer to both complaints
$14/month for 10,000 tasks (list price $19). Unlimited team members on every plan, including free.
If you are leaving Integrately over the seat limit and the task counting, Pabbly answers both directly. Team members are unlimited on every plan — there is no per-seat tier to climb into. And internal steps, which is to say filters, routers and formatters, do not consume tasks at all; only steps that touch an external app do. Against Integrately’s model, where a Modify Data field costs the same as a Mailchimp write, that is a structural difference rather than a discount.
The trade-offs are real. Pabbly’s app library is smaller at 2,000+, its free plan is a one-off allocation of 100 tasks rather than a monthly one, and the $14 is promotional against a $19 list price that moves with whatever deal is running.

2. Make — the cheapest capable swap
$9/month for 10,000 credits (annual), $10 monthly. Unlimited users on every plan, including free.
Make is a quarter of Integrately’s price at the same volume and includes unlimited users from the $9 tier upward, which removes the seat cliff entirely. It is also a considerably more capable builder: routers, iterators and aggregators handle branching work that Integrately’s template-first approach is not really designed for.
The honest counterweight is that Make is a step up in complexity, and its billing works against you in one specific way Integrately’s does not: Make charges for polling checks. A scenario checking an app every five minutes consumes credits all day whether or not anything happened, whereas Integrately’s triggers are free. If your automations are low-volume but frequently polled, do that arithmetic before you switch.
3. n8n — when your workflows have many steps
€20/month for 2,500 executions, €50 for 10,000 (annual). Unlimited users on every plan. Community Edition free and self-hosted.
n8n bills one unit per complete workflow run, however many steps it contains. For someone coming from Integrately this is the biggest structural change available: the branching, the searches and the data formatting that each cost a task on Integrately all sit inside a single n8n execution and cost nothing extra.
Per unit it looks expensive — €50 against Make’s $9 — but the units are not comparable. Integrately’s own four-task example would be one n8n execution. The real cost is the learning curve: n8n expects some comfort with data structures and APIs, and it is the least template-driven tool here, which is precisely the thing Integrately users tend to like most.
4. Activepieces — the biggest free tier
$16/month for 10,000 credits (annual). Free plan: 100 credits a day, roughly 3,000 a month.
Activepieces uses the same one-credit-per-whole-run model as n8n, and its free tier is the most generous in this comparison — about 3,000 complete runs a month against Integrately’s 100 tasks. It is open source, and the cloud and self-hosted versions cost the same.
Two caveats. The free plan is single-user, and paid seats cap at five on the $16 Plus plan, so it does not solve the team problem as cleanly as Pabbly or Make. And its app library is the smallest here at 760+, under half of Integrately’s. Check your apps first.
5. Zapier — the one you move up to, not down to
$129/month for 10,000 tasks (annual), $193.50 monthly. Team seats begin on the Team plan at $69/month.
Zapier is on this list for completeness and for one reason only: 9,000+ apps, roughly six times Integrately’s library. If you left Integrately because it does not connect to something you need, Zapier is the tool most likely to have it, and nothing else on this page will fix that problem.
On every other axis it is a step backwards from Integrately. It costs more than three times as much at the same task volume, and shared workflows and shared app connections only appear on the Team plan. Leaving Integrately for Zapier to save money does not work.

What Integrately does better than all of them
Worth saying plainly, because a page called “alternatives” has an obvious bias.
Time to first working automation. Integrately’s pitch is 20 million ready-made automations across 1,500+ apps — you pick one and activate it rather than building from an empty canvas. Nothing else here is close on that measure. If the reason you chose Integrately was that Make’s canvas felt like work, moving to Make will feel like the same work again.
Free triggers and free failures. Integrately does not bill polling checks or failed actions. Make bills polling. That is a genuine advantage and it partly offsets the task-counting rules.
Support on every plan. Live chat is listed on all tiers including the free one, which is unusual at this price point.
How to choose
- Need a second seat? Pabbly Connect or Make. Both include unlimited users at a fraction of Integrately’s $99 Growth plan.
- Burning tasks faster than expected? Count how many of your steps are conditions, searches and Modify Data operations. If that is most of them, n8n or Activepieces will change the shape of the bill, not just the size.
- Missing an app? Only Zapier reliably fixes that, and you will pay three times over for it.
- Happy but curious? Stay. Rebuild two workflows on a free tier elsewhere and run them in parallel for a fortnight before you cancel anything.
